Sabre UV Stainless Steel UV Steriliser - 14 Watt (8 Litres / Minute)
Constructed from 304 Stainless Steel, the Sabre range of ultraviolet (UV) disinfection systems have been designed to offer high dosage of UV light that destroys the DNA of micro-organisms in water, thus preventing the micro-organisms from growing and reproducing.
Typically installed at the point of entry or point of use, these systems can treat mains water as well as ground water from borehole and other source water. UV does not create toxic substances as do chlorine or ozone treatments, nor does it alter the taste and chemical properties of the water. It is a safe and reliable method for treating contaminated water as it is impossible to overdose UV and is highly effective against bacteria, viruses, mould spores, algae, parasites and cysts.
High quality stainless steel Sabre UV systems provide assurance of safe water due to their high dosage rates of 30mj/cm². Whether the water source is from mains supply, borehole, well or river, microbiological contamination can be treated with ultraviolet light. The system carries a WRAS approval.

*UV systems have a stated flow rate based on feedwater transmission of 95%. On single pass applications (including drinking water) where the water clarity is less than stated, or the potential flow rate could exceed the recommended maximum flow rate, the installer should fit a suitable flow regulator.
