JOHN GUEST ASV10 ANGLE STOP VALVE 1/2" BSP x 1/4" Pushfit

John Guest ASV10 1/2″ Bsp female thread to 1/2″ BSP male thread adaptor with a side shut of tap with 1/4″ push in tube fitting.

The ASV10 adaptors are the easiest way to connect into 1/2″ water lines to branch off to a water filter system using 1/4" tubing.

The female end has a swivel thread with a rubber sealing washer which allows you to tighten the fitting without having to turn the complete adaptor, which is great for those hard to get to areas.

Therefore If your Kitchen Tap is using a braided hose to branch off the mains you can turn off your water supply. Unscrew the hose from the mains and fit this ASV fitting to the 1/2" male connection on the mains. You then screw the Braided hose onto the 1/2" male BSP on the ASV connection and you have a D.I.Y cold mains branch off to 1/4" tubing for your under sink filter system.
